I went running tonight and the stars were out. My brother was galloping along next to me and my short little legs were a blur trying to keep up. I ran with my head tipped back to gape up at the stars and they were crystal clear. At the edges of the sky, I could see the city and its bright orange lights were eating into the sky like acid and I was just disgusted.
